COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (CAD)

Each new product is inspired and shaped by the creativity, skill and knowledge of expert craftsmen. The design process begins with a traditional sketch, before CAD transforms the drawing into a detailed 3D model.

COMPUTER AIDED MANUFACTURING (CAM)

Computer aided manufacturing translates the 3D CAD model – and the entire production process required to turn it into a reality – into a computer programme that steers our advanced CNC machinery. CAM is far faster, more flexible and more efficient than programming machines directly. Integrating design with manufacture allows us to control the entire end-to-end process with the maximum level of precision, ensuring that each piece is as stunning as it was originally intended to be.

AUTOMATED MANUFACTURING DELIVERS TOTAL CONSISTENCY

Advanced 5-axis milling-and-drilling technology guarantees unerring levels of repeatability, accuracy and consistency throughout the process.

IN-HOUSE TOOLING OFFERS COMPLETE FLEXIBILITY

Our unique, in-house tooling department offers the flexibility to meet the most demanding of requests. Whatever you require in terms of quantity, complexity and quality, we have the capability to make it happen.

AUTOMATED DIAMOND SORTING

Diamond parcels are prepared, with diamonds automatically sorted and measured by Daems Vision technology – again developed in-house.

AUTOMATED SETTING GUARANTEES INCREDIBLE PRECISION

Each stone is automatically set using our patented stone-setting application, which guarantees the most accurate results possible every single time while retaining a traditional handmade finish. Our application also delivers the capability to set up to 12 different sizes of round diamonds, ranging from 0,55mm to 6mm, in the same piece of jewellery.

AUTOMATED ENGRAVING FOR EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS

Our technology even offers the capability to automate engraving. Using femtosecond laser techniques, we achieve the same level of quality as chemical engraving while at the same time making the whole process faster, more efficient and more sustainable.

AUTOMATED POLISHING PRODUCES A FLAWLESS FINISH

Fully automated polishing technology ensures flawless, endlessly repeatable results across every type of production, every kind of jewellery, every single time. Even the most delicate pieces can be perfectly finished without the slightest impairment, using torque and pressure measuring on both the polished surface and the spindle. Again, this unique state of the art technology has been developed in-house.

AUTOMATED QUALITY CONTROL ELIMINATES ANOMALIES

DAEMS GIOVANNI has developed the first ever automated quality control system for polished surfaces – and it remains unique in the jewellery and watch industry. The integrated system enables us to verify the quality of jewellery and watch components meeting customer expectations with 100% consistency.

WATCH CASE TECHNOLOGY

This sample of an oval watch case, featuring curving lines in every direction, holds a combination of 12 different diamond diameters. It is another fine example of our expertise in automated manufacturing, setting and polishing.

SOFIE EARSTUDS 0.25CT CENTRE TECHNOLOGY

A classic round earstud with a 0.25ct centre stone surrounded by 16 small, identically-sized diamonds – all securely set with a minimum 4 prongs. The distance between each is reduced to a minimum, as is the appearance of metal to reveal the maximum surface area.

SINGLE SIZE MICRO PAVÉ TECHNOLOGY 100% MACHINE MADE

Micro pavé work can be fully automated on extremely delicate products such as these 1mm micro bands holding 0,8mm diamonds. From manufacturing to setting and polishing, everything can be executed automatically, achieving results that are indistinguishable from traditional craftsmanship.

WATCH BEZEL TECHNOLOGY

Any watch bezel can be made, set and polished using fully automatic methods to meet the highest tolerances. Diamonds are indexed with a 3° accuracy by our patented automated setting application in any common metal such as gold, platinum, stainless steel or titanium..

WATCH DIAL TECHNOLOGY

This watch dial sample has been made, set and polished using full automation. 516 diamonds in sizes between 0,60mm and 1,20mm are set by our patented technology without any human intervention.

This classic ring is set with over 350 diamonds in up to 12 different sizes, all securely set with a minimum 4 prongs. The distance between each is reduced to a minimum, as is the appearance of metal to reveal the maximum surface area. The inside is crafted for optimum comfort – a clear demonstration of our technology.
